Drop-On Glass Beads are very fine glass particles used in road marking. Due to their light-reflective properties, they enhance visibility and safety at night and in adverse weather conditions.
In the marking process, marking machines have two spray guns: one for spraying paint and the other for spraying glass beads. These glass beads are sprayed onto the fresh paint, making the road lines visible at night and in low-light conditions by reflecting the light from vehicle headlights.
