Unlike drop-on glass beads, where the beads are separately sprayed onto the surface, in pre-mixed glass beads, the beads are fully mixed with the paint to provide a uniform and ready-to-use mixture.
Paints containing glass beads have a longer lifespan in marking applications due to their greater thickness and the presence of coarse beads. These beads provide consistent reflectivity throughout the lifespan of the marking paint. As the traffic paint wears over time, the mixed glass beads appear on the surface, creating high reflectivity. Additionally, they increase the lifespan of the marking paint.
This product is produced by Taban Rah Atlas Company with or without coating according to the customer’s requested granulation analysis. The pre-mixed glass beads are manufactured according to national standards 10548 and 8040, European standard EN1424, and standards BS6088 A and AASHTO M247, and can be used in thermoplastic paints and others.
